ESCRS, Euretina to hold joint meeting in 2010
The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the European Society of Retina Specialists will hold their annual meetings together in 2010, according to a press release.
The meeting will run from Sept. 2 to Sept. 8, 2010, in Paris, with each society having its own scientific program and two joint symposia.
"There has always been a great deal of crossover existing between cataract and retina surgeons," Paul Rosen, FRCOphth, current president of ESCRS, said. "Linking these meetings in 2010 gives both societies the opportunity to explore these synergies and create an original and groundbreaking format for an ophthalmology congress."
