TROY, Mich. — Delphi Medical Systems was granted a $35 million contract to manufacture vision-testing devices, the company reported in a press release.
Delphi will manufacture the Z-View Aberrometer for Opthonix, according to the press release. The Z-View “replaces several tests currently performed in the eye doctor’s office and provides the most complete and accurate account of the patient’s optical errors and imperfections,” Delphi said in its release. The Z-View measures both low- and high-order errors, the company said.
