ATLANTA — CIBA Vision has sold its Aquaflex and Softcon EW soft contact lens lines to Unilens Vision, the company reported in a press release.
The product lines include an extended wear conventional spherical lens (the Softcon line) and a daily wear conventional lens (the Aquaflex) that will now be marketed by the Lombart lens division of Unilens.
Under terms of the agreement, Unilens will acquire all inventory, trademarks and various other assets for the product lines. Unilens will pay a royalty on all future non-inventory sales of the product lines over the next 5 years.
