PASADENA, Calif. — Calhoun Vision and Carl Zeiss Meditec have entered a research and supply partnership regarding a light-adjustable IOL, according to a press release from Calhoun Vision.

During the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting this year, the two companies signed agreements for Carl Zeiss digital light delivery systems to be used with Calhoun’s Light Adjustable Lens, according to the press release.

Using specific patterns of light, the Light Adjustable Lens can be modified in the eye to optimize vision after cataract surgery, according to the release.
