BSM Consulting receives leadership award
SAN DIEGO — BSM Consulting has been awarded the Jerome H. Levy Award for Leadership and Vision in Ophthalmic Surgery by the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society here.
The award, given at the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS) Perspective 2011 during the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting, is presented to those who have contributed to the ophthalmic ASC community, according to a press release from the company.
"BSM Consulting has provided unparalleled support to the ASC community through practice management consulting, dozens of live and electronic courses, active participation in the OOSS annual meeting since 1999, and the development and ongoing expansion of a remarkable distance learning resource, BSM Connection for ASC learning," R. Bruce Wallace III, MD, OSN Cataract Surgery Section Board Member and president of OOSS, said in the release.
"We are very grateful for this recognition and accept it in the spirit of a shared commitment to ensuring the highest quality and value in patient care in a rapidly changing health care environment," Bruce S. Maller, president and CEO of BSM Consulting, said in the release.
