Bausch & Lomb is being sued over alleged patent violations relating to its disposable high-speed vitrectomy cutter, according to a press release.
Scieran Technologies, based in California, filed suit in the U.S. District Court of Delaware, seeking unspecified compensatory damages and a permanent injunction to stop B&L from selling the device, said General Patent Corp., the law firm representing Scieran, in the press release.
