B&L expands range of PureVision Toric contact lenses

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Bausch & Lomb is expanding the parameter range of its toric contact lenses, the company said in a release.

B&L’s Pure Vision Toric Visibility tinted lenses will now be available in plano from -0.25 D to -6 D in 0.25 D increments, and from -6.5 D to -9 D in 0.5 increments. Cylinder parameters include -0.75 D, -1.25 D and -1.75 D; and axes from 10° to 180° in 10° steps.

B&L said the lenses are the only toric lenses available for daily wear or extended wear from 1 to 30 days for the correction of myopia and hyperopia. The company expects to introduce additional parameters later this year, according to the release.
