SANTA ANA, Calif. — AMO will market a vitreoretinal workstation as a result of a worldwide distribution agreement signed with Optikon.

The system will be a “full featured vitreal retinal workstation,” according to a press release issued by AMO. Under terms of the global agreement, AMO’s initial market entry for the system will be Europe, followed by Africa and Asia. The release did not state when the system would enter the U.S. market.
