White & Blue Lion updates tattoo ink recall

In a previous announcement, White & Blue Lion voluntarily recalled tattoo ink and tattoo needles due to pathogenic bacterial contamination; as an extra precaution, the company has expanded the recall to include additional products.

The recall now encompasses all tattoo ink, needles, tubes, ink cups and kits distributed by White & Blue Lion, including those specifically listed on www.fda.gov, according to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration press release.

The inks and needles are sold in tattoo kits, and the inks are also sold separately by 8Decades and White & Blue Lion through www.amazon.com and www.ebay.com.
