Shoulder Options Inc. recently announced FDA 510(k) clearance for its AFT Proximal Humerus Fracture Plate. The newly cleared plate, which will immediately begin in limited user release, is intended for the treatment of fractures and fracture dislocations, osteotomies, and nonunions of the proximal humerus.

“Our philosophy is to innovate when possible, or at least improve the state of the art,” Chief Innovation Officer of Shoulder Options C. Scott Humphrey, MD, stated in a company press release. “With this release, our portfolio of novel shoulder devices continues to expand.”
