VIDEO: ANA Annual Meeting sessions highlight current, future use of AI in neurology

In this video, M. Elizabeth Ross, MD, PhD, FANA, president of the American Neurological Association, spoke with Healio about the overarching theme of AI at the organization’s annual meeting in Orlando.

Ross, director of the Center for Neurogenetics at Weill Cornell Medicine, said sessions at the meeting covered a wide range of AI-related topics, including applications in implantable devices for neuropsychiatric diseases, the power of informatics and machine-learning applications to personalize health care, and the use of deep learning with neuroimaging to improve diagnostic capabilities and understand mechanisms of neurological disease.
