A health innovations company has acquired a portfolio of electroencephalograph-related brain monitoring technologies and devices from an applied science firm to bolster its pipeline of products geared toward telehealth in neurology.

According to a release from Aditxt Inc., the acquired assets from Brain Scientific Inc. include 16 patents, chief among them a disposable NeuroCap and portable NeuroEEG, both designed to provide rapid access to precise EEG test results, optimizing efficiency and allowing clinicians to concentrate on interpreting test readings in a more accurate manner.

The transaction will enable Aditxt’s majority-owned subsidiary, Pearsanta Inc., to expand its reach to a broader range of innovative solutions for neurological diagnostics.

“This transaction represents yet another example of how Aditxt accelerates the growth of its subsidiaries through innovation,” Aditxt co-founder, Chairman and CEO Amro Albanna said in the release. “Integrating these pioneering brain monitoring technologies and devices into Pearsanta will enable it to address critical needs and expand its commercial opportunities globally.”
