A Canadian firm has announced completion of a round of financing that netted almost $3.4 million for further commercialization of its cognitive performance software in clinics across the United States.
According to a release from VoxNeuro Inc., the funding was led by g.tec, a brain-computer interface and neurotechnology company that serves as VoxNeuro's strategic supplier of EEG hardware. Expansion of the software’s implementation intends to meet a growing demand for cognitive assessments, to promote brain health equity and provide for continuous upgrades through research and development, VoxNeuro said in the release.
“Our unwavering commitment to giving everyone’s brain a voice through research-intensive, innovative solutions adds meaningful value to health care providers and aims to improve patient outcomes,” VoxNeuro CEO Jason Flowerday said in the release.
VoxNeuro additionally revealed in the release the development of a machine-learning enhancement to its current clinical tool, which will include advanced features to promote increased precision, specificity and a more holistic view of patients’ cognitive health.
