Revitalist Lifestyle and Wellness and Wake Network Inc. announced a joint venture to offer ketamine infusions in the U.S. and psilocybin clinical retreats internationally with a special focus on military veterans’ need for access.

According to a Revitalist release, the UNIT Retreat was created to provide ethical access to educational tools, research initiatives and psychedelic medicines for those in medical need. Psilocybin and ketamine have been shown to improve depression, PTSD and anxiety, conditions that often affect veterans, the release stated.

“The ability to offer multiple psychedelic options to our clients allows us to continue to expand our operations while maintaining our focus on providing ethical access to timely care,” Kathryn Walker, CEO of Revitalist, said in the release.

The 8-day retreat will be held Oct. 10-17 at the Veterans Healing Farm in North Carolina and followed by a 5-day psilocybin retreat in Jamaica. Event organizers aim to provide follow-up retreats each month, according to the release.

“Partnering with the wonderful team at Revitalist delivers on our commitment to furthering care and research to the mental wellness community internationally, through personalized psychedelic treatments,” Wake CEO Nick Murray said in the release.
