The five power purchase agreements of the company will add 580 gigawatt hours per year from wind and solar farms in Germany and the United States. The farms are scheduled to go into operation in 2024 and 2025, according to the release, and will cover 46% of FME’s global energy consumption.

The goal of the company is to reduce emissions in its own operations by 50% by 2030, according to the release.
