NEW ORLEANS — In this video interview from the Annual Renal Physicians Association Meeting, Timothy A. Pflederer, MD, FASN, FASDIN, reviews the association’s accomplishments during the past year.

“Renal Physicians Association (RPA) has been busy this year, as most years,” Pflederer, president of the RPA, said.

According to Pflederer, the association responded to the Federal Trade Commission’s proposal to outlaw non-compete agreements by developing an informational webinar for nephrologists and helping them react within their practices.

“As those issues come up, RPA can quickly respond, gather information and ... help equip nephrologists and their practices,” Pflederer said.
