Kimball’s experience includes being the executive director of Kidney Care Partners, principal of AdvocateUS, president and CEO of Physicians for Fair Coverage, director of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Minnesota and a legislative associate for AARP in its Washington D.C. office.

According to the release, Kimball has spent more than 20 years developing teams, gaining legislative and regulatory victories, and building advocacy and membership campaigns, as well as working with national nonprofit, nonpartisan and multispecialty organizations.

“I am absolutely delighted to be taking on this new role,” Kimball said in the release. “Nurses are true superheroes and the backbone of our health care system. With 37 million Americans living with kidney disease, the role of nephrology nurses has never been more important than it is today. It is an honor and a privilege to support these nurses and ANNA as their next executive director.”
