Northwest Kidney Centers has named Rebecca Cofinas Fox, MPH, as its new president and CEO. Cofinas Fox will begin her role on March 23, according to a press release.
Holding a master’s degree in public health, Cofinas Fox has worked in health care administration in a variety of capacities and once served as corporate vice president for clinical services at Scripps Health, according to the release. In addition, she contributed to a health care startup, known as AristaMD, which aims to be “the market leader for e-consults.”
In the release, Rich Bloch, chair of the board of trustees for Northwest Kidney Centers, expressed his perspective on Cofinas Fox’s new position.
“I’ve found Rebecca to be extremely insightful and an excellent communicator,” he said. “As well, Rebecca’s capacity to learn is preceded only by her deeply analytical questioning. In these times of great change within the kidney care industry, I’m grateful to have Rebecca on our team and am excited to work with her.”
Cofinas Fox succeeds Joyce F. Jackson, who served the organization for 21 years.
