Concern for the availability of sterile tape prompted the development by TNTMoborg of Immobile “TNT.” The Immobile “TNT” is a kit of four 5.5-inch long sterile tape segments, precut and ready to use with two kits per packet. The tape is a woven tape with hypoallergenic adhesive in an easy-to-use dispenser, which allows for efficient line-of-site placement. The segments are engineered to place adhesive only where needed. The strategic adhesive placement increases efficiency by greatly reducing incidents where surgical gloves get stuck to the tape. The engineered placement of adhesive also makes it easier to reposition needles by eliminating adhesive where the wings normally get stuck to the tape.
