National Renal Administrators Association announces president-elect and other new leaders

The National Renal Administrators Association recently announced its new leadership team for 2018 to 2019. New officers will be inducted at the association’s business meeting during the NRAA Annual Conference in Boston on Oct. 19.

Maria Regnier, RN, MSN, CNN, senior director of Enterprise Dialysis, has been named as president-elect. Regnier has served on the NRAA board for 6 years, during which she also served on the hospital-based committee and co-chaired the external relations council. Once Regnier assumes the role of president in fall 2019, her role will entail strengthening the voice and resources available to independent and community-based dialysis providers, according to a company press release.

Caprice Vanderkolk, RN, BS, MS, BC-NE, nurse manager at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital, will serve as secretary for a 2-year term. She has served on a variety of NRAA committees and councils during her 15 years with the association.

NRAA members elected several at-large directors for 2-year terms. These included, Adrian Amedia, MHA, CMPE, executive vice president of the Independent Dialysis Group; Jugal Agarwal, chief operating officer of Sapphire Medical Billing and vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Atlantic Dialysis Management Services; Debbie Cote, MSN, RN, CNN, NE-BC, an administrator for the University of Virginia Dialysis Program; Karen Kelley, MHA, BSN, RN, CNN, director of dialysis for UP Health Systems and Portage Dialysis; and Stan Langhofer, regional vice president of American Renal Associates.
