VIDEO : Improvements to surveys lead to better patient experience

At the Renal Physicians Association Annual Meeting, Paul T. Conway, president of the American Association of Kidney Patients, spoke about the efficacy of surveys for patients and how organizations can improve these to better collect data.

“You have federal agencies right now like FDA, like CMS, who are actually working with organizations like ours and others who are trying to bring patients into roundtables and actually ask them about current surveys that are used by government, how those surveys could be better utilized, and, most importantly, how do you engage more patients in the experience to get more data,” he said.
