This data, provided by the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network (www.unos.org), includes kidney and kidney/pancreas transplants. The OPTN recorded 7,763 deceased kidney donors in 2014 (7,547 in 2013) and 5,536 living kidney donors (5,733 in 2013), resulting in 5,536 living kidney donor transplants (5,732 in 2013) and 11,570 deceased donor kidney transplants (11,163 in 2013). There were also 709 kidney/pancreas transplants in 2014 (761 in 2013). View NN&I's last six rankings.
