DaVita HealthCare Partners announced it would acquire Family Health Care of Central Florida, a primary care group with 13 providers and more than 70 employees in the Orlando metro area. Financial terms were not disclosed. The group will join DaVita's JSA Medical Group, a provider of primary care services in Central Florida.

"This transaction demonstrates our commitment to expanding our presence in the Orlando metro area and continuing to grow the leading independent medical group in America," said Joe Mello, chief operating officer of DaVita's HealthCare Partners division. -by Rebecca Zumoff
