National Kidney Foundation launches educational portal for nephrology professionals
The National Kidney Foundation has launched an online educational resource for nephrology professionals.
NKF’s Professional Education Resource Center (PERC) provides accredited online CME/CEs courses to physicians, fellows and residents, pharmacists, advanced practitioners, nurses, technicians, dietitians, social workers, and transplant professionals.
This new resource center is designed for professionals committed to continuing their education and improving patient outcomes. Courses include a range of discipline-specific, as well as multidisciplinary topics, delivered by a renowned international faculty.
Training is available for all skills levels, and course topics range from dialysis access to primers on dealing with substance abuse among kidney patients.
The courses available are in video format with commentary from professionals in their field. Multiple choice questions are provided to test those who participate and certificates of completion are downloadable upon passing the online exam.
The PERC online center provides a customizable learning portal for reviewing all CME/CE activities and completed courses allowing for professionals to access educational offering anytime, anywhere. PERC is also free to all NKF members.
