DaVita HealthCare Partners will acquire Mountain View Medical Group, an independent physician group in Colorado Springs. Under the proposal, Mountain View Medical Group would join the company's HealthCare Partners division. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Mountain View Medical Group is the second largest independent physician group in Colorado Springs with 50 physicians providing services including family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, pediatrics and podiatry. The group operates 14 medical office locations caring for more than 80,000 patients.

The transaction is expected to close in July 2016. -by Rebecca Zumoff
