Rehan Khan will serve as president of the DaVita Kidney Care business in Asia Pacific, the company announced.

Khan previously worked as the managing director of Abbott India Limited, overseeing a team of 3,000. Under his leadership. Khan also has held positions with AstraZeneca, Accenture and Venture Media.

DaVita Kidney Care has signed a joint venture agreement with Malaysian government investment fund Khazanah Nasional Berhad, and Mitsui & Co. LTD., a comprehensive trading, investment and service company.  The two companies will collectively own 40% in DaVita’s Asia-Pacific kidney care business.
