U.S. News & World Report ranked the top pediatric hospitals for nephrology using data on survival following kidney transplant, biopsy complications and overall infection prevention. Almost 17% of the score reflects how many of 450 pediatric nephrologists responding to surveys in 2012, 2013 and 2014 recommended the hospital for serious cases.

The top five include:

• Boston Children's Hospital
• Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
• Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
• Texas Children's Hospital
• Seattle Children's Hospital
