This data, provided by the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network, includes kidney and kidney/pancreas transplants. The OPTN recorded 8,268 decreased kidney donors in 2013 (8,143 in 2012) and 5,988 living kidney donors (5,868 in 2012), resulting in 5,732 living kidney donor transplants (5,619 in 2012) and 11,163 deceased donor kidney transplants (10,868 in 2012). There were also 762 kidney/pancreas transplants (one living donor) in 2013 (801 in 2012).
