Renal Ventures Management opens first vascular access center in Louisiana

Renal Ventures Management has opened its first vascular access center in Lafayette, La. The Vascular Center at Lafayette, LLC is a joint venture partnership between Physician Venture Partners, LLC and Acadiana Renal Physicians Inc.
Kyle Smith, DO, PhD, FACP, will be the center’s medical director. For the past ten years, his practice focused solely on interventional nephrology. During this time, Smith performed more than 15,000 dialysis access interventional procedures. Previous positions included staff physician at the Philadelphia Vascular Institute and partner in Dallas Nephrology Associates.
The center will initially focus on dialysis access maintenance and peripheral arterial disease (PAD) intervention.
