Dialysis provider Renal Ventures Management LLC has appointed George R. Aronoff, MD, MS, FACP as assistant-chief medical officer, a position the company just created.

Prior to Renal Ventures, Aronoff was chief of the Nephrology Division of the department of medicine at the University of Louisville. In that capacity, he served as the medical director of the University of Louisville Dialysis Unit and the training program director. He is an accomplished author, lecturer and professor, and is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He has served on the board of directors of the Renal Physicians Association and the medical advisory board for the American Association of Kidney Patients.
