Reliant Renal Care Lapeer Home Choice LLC will begin offering on-site dialysis services to residents in NexCare nursing centers. The new program provides residents the choice to receive their treatment as a home patient. NexCare runs nursing and rehabilitation centers in Michigan.

RRC will provide all the equipment, supplies, medications and dialysis-trained staff.

“At RRC, we understand the needs of the residents, within a skilled nursing center, for more treatment options beyond the in-center dialysis model”, said Barbara Bednar, president and CEO. “By providing staff assisted home dialysis to residents with ESRD in their 'home,' the resident will experience a higher quality of life by making dialysis a part of their life and not their life.”
