NxStage Kidney Care Inc., a subsidiary of NxStage Medical Inc., has opened a new dialysis center in Orlando, Fla. The center is certified to provide home hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and in-center hemodialysis. The new dialysis facility's medical director is Orlando-based nephrologist, Dr. Ndidi Nwamu.

The Orlando facility is the third dialysis center for the company. It opened its first dialysis center outside St. Louis in Des Peres, Mo. in October 2013, and its second dialysis center is located in Jacksonville, Fla.

"I have worked as a nephrologist in Orlando for two years, and I'm excited to work with NxStage Kidney Care center and give local patients another choice in dialysis care," said Dr. Nwamu.
