Dialysis Clinic Inc. to hold musical event in Nashville to raise awareness about organ donation
On Aug. 29, Dialysis Clinic Inc. and DCI Donor Services will be hosting The Giving Life Event in Nashville at the bar and restaurant SOUTH. The event will include live music, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction that will benefit Camp Okawehna, a week-long summer camp for children ages 6 to 18 years old suffering from kidney disease. Representatives from DCI Donor Services will be at the event to answer questions about organ donation and provide an opportunity for guests to immediately sign up on Tennessee’s organ donor registry.

“This is a not just another night of music in Nashville,” states Brian Gourley, event coordinator, “This is a night of bringing people together to share with them that they have the power to offer the gift of life. We need people who are courageous and kind enough to sign up to be organ donors. We hope our event will raise awareness and encourage people to take that step.”
Live musical entertainment will be provided by Amy Wilcox, The Flashtastiks, Stephanie Quayle, Brother Moultrie, Anthony Billups, and Emerald Blue.
