DaVita HealthCare Partners to acquire Colorado Springs Health Partners

The HealthCare Partners division of DaVita HealthCare Partners has agreed to acquire Colorado Springs Health Partners, a multi-specialty medical group with more than 100 physicians at 11 locations throughout the Pikes Peak region.

Colorado Springs Health Partners, established in 1946, is one of the 74 medical practices in Colorado selected to participate in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Collaborative Primary Care Initiative and its care model has statistically shown improvement in patient outcomes along with cost effectiveness.

"We are especially excited about growing in our home state and look forward to more," said Kent Thiry, co-chairman and CEO of DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc.
