The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has sent the final rule for the End-Stage Renal Disease Prospective Payment System and Quality Incentive Program to the Office of Management and Budget for review and clearance, according to the National Renal Administrators Association. The review by OMB is the final step in the development of a regulation. Once OMB has completed its review, the rule will be published in the Federal Register.

The NRAA asked its members in a memo to be ready to take action after the final rule is published in case an advocacy campaign is needed.
