CMS releases replay of webinars on Comprehensive ESRD Care Initiative
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Center hosted two webinars to assist ESRD seamless care organizations (ESCOs) in exploring key structural and financial considerations as they apply to the initiative. Webinar: Comprehensive ESRD Care Initiative - Building Effective Partnerships
Pioneer ACOs participated in a facilitated round table discussion regarding what considerations were made when identifying potential partners. Panelists shared thoughts on how to assess ideal characteristics of potential ESCO partners, how they created a shared mission statement, what changes were made to their leadership structure, and lessons learned related to their implementation plan.

Webinar: Comprehensive ESRD Care Initiative - Making the ACO Business Case
Pioneer ACOs participated in a facilitated round table discussion regarding considerations that were made when joining the Pioneer program. Panelists discussed topics such as how their strategies have evolved as their ACOs developed. The learned about key resources and strengths needed to enter into a risk-sharing arrangement.
