The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is extending the deadline for letters of intent and applications for the Comprehensive ESRD Care initiative. The new application deadline is now Aug. 1, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Letters of intent are now due by July 19, 2013 by 11:59 p.m. EDT. The letter of intent is required in order to submit an application.

The agency said in a release that it extended the deadline because of "the high level of stakeholder interest and feedback from the community on the need for additional time to prepare applications."
