LISBON, Portugal — In this video, Carlos del Rio, MD, executive associate dean at Emory University School of Medicine, discusses the clinical benefits of being active on Twitter.

“I think [for] infectious disease, in particular, I have found Twitter to be particularly useful for a medical education, for learning about new trends, towards learning about new outbreaks,” said del Rio, an Infectious Disease News Editorial Board Member. “During COVID-19, it has been an incredible source of information.”
