WASHINGTON — Infectious Diseases Society of America President Daniel P. McQuillen, MD, FIDSA, delivered a presentation at the World Anti-Microbial Resistance Congress on issues related to antimicrobial stewardship and the ID workforce.

In this video, McQuillen, an infectious disease physician at Beth Israel Lahey Health outside Boston, summarizes legislation supported by the IDSA that focuses on increasing staffing and funding for antimicrobial stewardship programs and offering loan repayment to ID professionals who meet certain work requirements.
