SAN DIEGO — Louise Ivers, MD, MPH, DTM&H, director of global health at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, discusses a roadmap released by the Global Task Force on Cholera Control (GTFCC) on Oct. 4 that aims to reduce 90% of cholera-related deaths by 2030.
“Nobody should die from cholera,” Ivers, who is a member of GTFCC, says. “By putting our heads together and investing some resources, we really could make that happen.”
