NEW ORLEANS — Kavita K. Trivedi, MD, an infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship consultant in Berkley, California, discusses a session at IDWeek 2016 that focused on ways to enhance infection prevention in long-term care settings. The presenters informed attendees how infectious disease consultants can be utilized in long-term care facilities and discussed the role of public health and patient movement in infection control.
