Kellogg Company issued a voluntary recall of some Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat waffles over fears that the popular breakfast food might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The company said it was recalling 10,000 cases of the waffles after routine testing showed they had the potential to be contaminated with L. monocytogenes, the bacterium that causes listeriosis.

The company said in a statement there have been no reports of illness so far and that the recall was issued as a precaution. No other Eggo products were impacted by the recall.

Customers in 25 states are being asked to discard the waffles and contact the company for a refund. The recall involves 10-count boxes with a UPC code of 38000 40370 and a “Better if used before” dates of Nov. 21-22, 2017.

The affected states are: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
