Infectious Disease News and Healio.com, published by SLACK Incorporated, have announced the launch of the Outbreak Tracker, an online service that features up-to-date information on emerging outbreaks affecting countries worldwide.

The tracker displays the latest data released from sources such as the CDC and WHO, including case counts and mortality rates associated with global outbreaks. In addition, the tracker links to the most current headlines that provide in-depth analysis of these diseases.

“The Outbreak Tracker will enable physicians to directly connect with the latest infectious disease statistics and prepare them to execute appropriate treatment for their patients,” Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, senior vice president of SLACK Incorporated, said in a press release. “Related articles will elaborate on the data, research and treatment options, all of which will benefit our readers.”
