CHICAGO — In this video, Henry Chi Hang Fung, MD, FACP, FRCPE, discussed findings assessing the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma who are ineligible for transplant.

Fung, chair and professor in the bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies department at Fox Chase Cancer Center, highlighted two phase 3 studies presented at ASCO Annual Meeting.

He also discussed updates from a trial that looked at a similar treatment plan for patients with multiple myeloma who are transplant eligible.

“For high-risk patients/standard-risk patients, we should consider four drug regimens as the treatment for patients with multiple myeloma transplant eligible and transplant ineligible,” Fund said.”
