Women in Medicine Summit partners with Healio to continue to advance gender equity
Healio continues its partnership with the Women in Medicine Summit in support of the much-anticipated 6th annual gathering in September.
The summit is dedicated to advancing gender equity in medicine and fostering the professional and personal growth of women in the field. This year’s gathering will offer participants unparalleled opportunities to contribute to the discourse on our health care systems, gender equity in health care and the drive for positive change.

Women in Medicine Summit invites physicians, researchers, practitioners and advocates to submit abstracts and perspective pieces that address the myriad challenges and opportunities faced by women in the medical profession. All accepted submissions will be published in International Journal of Academic Medicine, providing contributors with a significant platform to share their research, insights and narratives.
Submissions are open until May 31, and guidelines can be found on the Women in Medicine Summit website.
In conjunction with the call for papers, the Women in Medicine Summit is also accepting nominations for the #IStandWithHer awards until May 31. These awards celebrate individuals of all genders who have demonstrated remarkable resilience, innovation and solidarity in the field of medicine and acknowledge the diverse ways individuals support gender equity in medicine. Nomination details and criteria are available on the summit’s website.

Registration for the summit is now open, with early bird rates available until June 29. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, participate in workshops, and network with peers dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and equitable medical community.
