VIDEO: Early phase trials investigate triplet therapy in acute myeloid leukemia
SAN DIEGO — In this video, Catherine Lai, MD, MPH, highlights early phase studies presented at ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition that investigated triplet therapy in acute myeloid leukemia.
“These were all early readouts and the studies showed that they were safe and that the efficacy was promising,” Lai, an associate professor and physician leader of the Leukemia Clinical Research Unit at University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, said. “But, again, we need more data with longer term follow-up to know exactly what to do with these drugs.”
