In this video, Narjust Florez (Duma), MD, spoke with Healio about the prevalence of sexual dysfunction among women with lung cancer and the importance of including sexual health in oncology care.

The study results were presented by Florez, associate director of the Cancer Care Equity Program and thoracic medical oncologist at Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, at the World Conference on Lung Cancer.

“Today, this is the largest study evaluating sexual health in women with lung cancer,” she said. “Sexual health in patients with lung cancer is understudied and underreported.”
