VIDEO: Patient-reported outcomes important in prostate cancer

In this video, Kara N. Babaian, MD, spoke with Healio about a presentation on patient-reported outcomes after radical prostatectomy for high-risk prostate cancer from the American Urological Association meeting.

“Patient-reported outcomes are important because with prostate cancer, it’s not only the oncologic outcomes, but also the functional outcomes,” Babaian, assistant professor in urology and director of urologic oncology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, explained.
