VIDEO: Oral immunotherapy verification process safely limits disruptions in treatment
In this video, Jeramy Tabuzo, BSN, RN, OCN, discussed her study, presented at Oncology Nursing Society Congress 2022, on improving the verification process and administration polices for oral investigational chemotherapy/immunotherapy.
Tabuzo, a clinical trials oncology nurse at Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut, explained why the new process is beneficial, saying the improved workflow minimizes disruptions in care.
