VIDEO: Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting offers diverse knowledge
BOSTON – The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting offered the opportunity to learn about diverse topics in hematology/oncology pharmacy, according to Loriel J. Solodokin, PharmD, BCOP.
Solodokin, assistant professor of pharmacy practice at MCPHS University School of Pharmacy-Boston and pharmacy specialist-hematology/oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women's Hospital, discussed attending a review on upper gastrointestinal cancer, which isn’t her specialty.
“It was more challenging, but it’s good to have that broad understanding of oncology in general because I think that it just makes you a more wholesome pharmacist,” she said in a video interview with Healio.
